A Life Changing Moment

Visiting Kathmandu, Nepal, years ago, something happened that changed my life forever. I was walking through the market area in the early morning.  I heard a scraping sound and looked down. A beggar boy with twisted legs dragged his body over to me. He looked up at me, put a pained expression on his face, and stretched out his hand for money.

Could anybody in the world be more different? Yet, as I looked into his eyes, I was overwhelmed by how much the same as me he felt. He was another human soul, like me, and I could not help but feel a remarkable if unexpected bond of kinship with him.

That moment haunted me, and began to teach me about what love is and about emotions. It opened up a whole new way of thinking that has evolved into understanding the emotional system and how it works, and eventually led to writing this book.

The book is in design stage. I hope to see it published in the coming months.
